This is Haweswater, only a couple of miles up the valley from The Crown and Mitre Inn at Bampton Grange. There are numerous walks around us from easy to hard going, we have the countryside that can cater for all abilities. What better, than to come in after a bracing day in the hills to a roaring fire, a pint of real ale (or wine) and some good food.

Dinner Bed and Breakfast offer for week days during October at only £60 per person, extra night can be added on a Bed and Breakfast basis for only £32.50 per person. This deal will extend to both weekdays and weekends from the 1st of November and is based on two people sharing. Rooms will be sold off on a first come first serve basis.
In our Lake District accommodation we have 8 en-suite bedrooms, all tastefully furnished and with views of the beautiful surrounding countryside.
There are several walks directly from the Inn that can be as leisurely, or as challenging as you wish. We have amazing wildlife nearby. Watch out for the red squirrels in the church yard opposite, and England's only Golden Eagle in nearby Riggindale. We also regularly see red deer on the local fells nearby.
Whilst situated in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park, you are never more than a few minutes from the rest of Lakeland, giving you the benefit of easy access to attractions with a quiet haven to come home to.
